Theodore “Ted” L. Clary

RUSSELL – Theodore “Ted” L. Clary, age 55, of Russell, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2012 at home.

There will be a graveside service on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the South Russell Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by French Funeral Home, Edwards.

Ted was born on November 28, 1956 in Massena to the late Thomas Carl and Helen Eileen (Davis) Clary. He graduated from Knox Memorial High School in 1974 and worked at various jobs in the North Country. Ted had been a roofer for R.S.I. Construction and a logger for Yorkshire Timber before becoming disabled in 1994.

In his free time, Ted enjoyed being outdoors. He used to hunt, fish, and ride his four-wheeler. He liked to whittle, especially carving on walking sticks.

His survivors include his daughter and her husband, Bess and Steve Bonno of Lisbon; two sisters and their husbands, Tess and Robert Eels, Josie and Timothy Thomson; five brothers and their wives, Thomas and Ruth, Terrance and Tonya, Truman and Lynette, James and Theresa, and Jeffrey and Bethany; a sister-in-law, Nancy; and four grandchildren.

Donations given in memory of Ted Clary may go to Russell Volunteer Fire and Rescue.
