Stephen Lester Hall, formerly of Hermon

Stephen Lester Hall passed away Saturday April 20, 2019 with family at his side.

Steve was born in Hermon, NY in 1947 to Jack Hall and Loretta Moulton Hall Sharpstene.

Steve graduated from Know Memorial Central School in 1965 and joined the U.S. Navy where he started his training in the medical field. After his discharge from the Navy he attended school in Florida to become a registered nurse. Following that he trained at Cleveland Clinic to become a nurse anesthetist and worked at that profession for 43 years until his retirement. During that time, he also became a commercial pilot and combined the two professions for a short while.

In 1987 Steve married Satu Ra ̈sa ̈nen, who survives him. Steve and Satu retired from Florida to Lake Cumberland, Kentucky in 2004.

In addition to his mother and his wife he is survived by a sister, Sharon Peabody (David), brother Sheldon Hall (Fran), an uncle John (Jack) Moulton (Mary Lou), several nieces and nephews. Steve was predeceased by his father Jack Hall, Grandparents Bernard & Harriet Moulton and Milford & Esther Hall.

Steve loved flying, spending time with Satu on their boat touring around the Atlantic, fishing and hunting.
